Benny's Burrito Recent Experience

JMinNYC | Dec 2, 2002 02:07 PM

When Benny's first opened, I took out their burritos and enchiladas quite often. The food wasn't anything special but it was palatable and reliable. The sauces were ok, the quacomole was average, etc. But, on a recent trip, the burrito was dreadful. The sauces tasted like something out of a can. The guacamole was brown and flavorless. The chicken was so dry I wondered if it was surplus from NASA. This was the kind of crap one expects on 3rd Street and Sullivan not over in the west village where you're servicing a more discriminating customer (no offense meant to NYU students).

Has anyone else noticed the fall of Benny's??
