bed and breakfast

this is probably going to seem like a stupid question, but here goes...

a couple years back, i remember reading about some out of the way b&b in bay area/napa/sonoma that was among the best restaurants in CA. it only had a few tables, owned by a husband and wife with the husband as chef, i think you pretty much had to be staying in the inn to eat there. i think the husband was italian and had little formal culinary experience, but i could be making that part up. i was particularly taken by the part of the article that mentioned that when you call to make a reservation/book a room, they ask what you like to eat and what you don't -- since there are so few guests, they could do that.

anyway, i am planning a trip with my fiancee to the area, and i would love to remember what this place is.

anyone have any idea what i am talking about?
