The best ribs I've ever had were at Twin Anchors in Chicago. Any suggestions on where I can find tasty ribs (fall off the bone, TENDER) in that style? And what is that style anyway?
I've checked several past threads...and a few names keep re-appeaing (eg Phillips, Baby Blues, Hogly Wogly, etc). Tried the baby back at Baby Blues. It was fair. The meat did separate easily from the bone, but was far from tender... rather dry and more like crispy carnitas taco meat. So good in its own way, but not what I was looking for. I've tried several others (mainly due to proximity of wherever I happened to be at the time) and all were rather disappointing, eg Santa Maria (Culver City), WoodRanch (Grove). Any suggestions would be great, even better if near WeHo, Silver Lake, Santa Monica, Downtown, Mid-Wilshire. Thanks!
