Went in last night for the first time in about 2 months. Our server recommended the 3 course BBQ menu and it was just fantastic. Wow. Seriously.
A farmers market tomato salad served with some vinegared cucumbers and red onion, some fresh herbs. Just delightful. Entree was the best BBQ pork I've had in so long! It was almost cute that steak knives were set on the table because literally you could just pull the bone from the meat. It had been smoked over corn cobs and so had this sweet, light smokiness to it. This was served with the sweetest, fresh corn on the cob, a creamy, garlicky (?) red potato salad, cole slaw with a vinegar dressing and the most sublime freshly sauteed cranberry beans. On the side, a wedge of perfect organic watermelon. The food was so good that I couldn't stop myself from eating past the point of fullness. Yup, cleaned my plate.
Dessert was an apricot cobbler with blueberries and an absolutely fantastic sweet corn ice cream. Unbelievable how well the ice cream paired with the apricot. Delightful.
Suggested wine was a lovely Italian white something or other for $9 IIRC. Outstanding service and a perfect experience.
