Bought some at Hook's yesterday. These are the small bay scallops that come into season about now, not the larger sea scallops.
Super sweet. I like to eat them raw with a little soy and a squeeze of lemon. Whatever you do, don't overcook.
A bit pricy at $32/lb but to me, worth a splurge. In past years, I think the price drops a few $ as the season picks up.
