I'll (w/ my chowpup) be making my once every 6mo. vist to S.F., from L.A., next week. Our last time up we ate at:

Isa (great all-around)
Dona Thomas (only okay, might have been over-hyped to me. I'll try again.)
Magnolia Brewing (great beer,nice people)
Cheese Board (yum!)
Mama's Washington Square (yum!)
Flints BBQ (I loved this place years ago. But it was a big miss this time around)
Slanted Door (very good)
Betty's Ocean View Cafe (?) (I might have the name wrong. 4th st in Berkeley. I love a place that knows how not to overcook eggs.)
Betelnut (I've always liked this place)

Any "if you liked this try..." or "you should have gone to..." or etc.. ANY thoughts are GREATLY appreciated.

I'm thinking about:
Zuni (VERY lost on me in the past but EVERYBODY I know loves it.)
Goat Hill Pizza (I hear it's great)

Thanks for any thoughts !
