What do we call bar food now days? I'm dating myself here, but I remember the older Bars in New Orleans having pickled pigs feet, sausages, onions, hard boiled eggs, pretzels, peanuts and a few other things available. All to wash down with cold beer. Several places up in Boston years ago would also have a lunch that I can not recall what it was named. Anyway, it was a large slice of chedda cheese, a slice of good bread and pickled onion. It came with a large beer. All this was great stuff. Now, I seem only to find peanuts or have to eat large meals. appreciate any answer just for curiosity. Thanks.
