"Bang-Bang" - I knew I wasn't alone in this . . .

So, a couple weeks ago, through the wonderful, evil magic that is streaming television, I was catching up on last season's 'Louis'. In one episode, Louis and a friend decide to embark on what they call a "bang-bang" - basically, back to back restaurant meals. A dining doubleheader. Here's a clip:

Now this is something I've taken great joy in doing throughout the years - though never had an "official name" for it. I've mentioned in various posts over time some of the outings, but never came across a discussion of the practice. It appears the folks at Food Republic have put some thought into it previously:

For my money, Philadelphia was practically designed for bang-bang lunches. I mean, Chinatown's just a couple of Arch Street blocks away from Reading Market - roast pork waits at both ends of the stroll. Other large cities provide similarly wonderful opportunities. Especially if your goal is the same cuisine (and specific dishes) using the guise of research to cover for the gluttony. Personally, I like a good tacqueria or taco truck to wash down a fancy tasting menu.

So, I ask, who else loves a good bang-bang? Got any good stories? Tips?
