banana pancakes

Joanie | Jan 23, 2003 07:15 AM

Had a craving for pancakes which I only eat about 3 times a year. Got them at Johnny's Luncheonette in Newton Center and they were really good. Big, golden brown, imperfectly shaped, no uncooked areas where the bananas are. Just needed butter but they serve real maple syrup with them at no extra charge which is the way it should be. Vermont Maid or some worse generic brand just doesn't cut it. Not a bargain at $6.75 but they hit the spot.
