looking for banana leaves in San Fran

JB | Mar 9, 200305:35 PM     6

Hi everyone

I've just wasted most of Sunday on a wild goose chase for banana leaves. I want to cook something that requires them, but I'm not having any luck. I went to asian markets on Clement Street, and in the big ones in Daly City. I've found taro leaves, curry leaves, and snow pea leaves but no banana leaves. I see that I can get them in Oakland, but I'd rather not drive all the way out there. Can anyone tell me where I can find banana leaves in the city?

thanks!
