I'm looking for an old recipe for banana cake that used cake flour, butter, sour cream and SPRY which I am pretty sure was a solid vegetable shortening. It was the fluffiest and most delicious cake, made by my grandmother in maybe the 1930s and 40s. Now that my mom is gone threw just one aunt nobody talks to and I figured I'd try one more shot before stooping to call her.
When I google it autocorrects to spray!
Any help is appreciated.
