My friends treated me to a delicious dinner at Bamonte's for my birthday. It was my first trip to this wonderful Italian relic in Brooklyn. It is located at 32 Withers Street, right off the BQE at the Meeker Morgan exit. This family run place has been open since 1900. Amazingly, i felt like it was 1965 last night. The room is still intact and fully restored with all of its originalness. The food is typically Italian and very lovingly prepared with great care. So my question to you is, "Is this place always so delicious? I cannot believe I have lived in NYC for so many years and never ate here before. Everything was very light and delicious. Perfectly seasoned, each dish standing out on it's own. It was just so nice to be there, reminded me of a place form my youth. Really Italian.
