bamboo (for decoration, not eating!)

I want to buy some of that bamboo you see rooted (hydroponically or in rocks...) in chinese restaurants. Probably one of the big fat but short bunches with 50 odd stalks in it.

So I look in florists in Chinatown - ouch! 35$ 50$ and up from there... Even the street guy is getting 4 and 5 bucks a stalk for the odd looking stuff. And they don't sell the short bunches...

Where is the best place to buy this stuff? Or do I just need to learn some more Cantonese words to get a better price?
