Baltimore sushi - All You Can Eat

I am of mixed emotions about this posting...but we returned to Baltimore last Wednesday to begin another season of "baseball-sushi". The O's played the Padres in an afternoon game (a crispy played 2-0 loss for the Orioles), which got us to Shogun on Charles Street a little before 6 pm for the Wednesday night "all you can eat" at the sushi bar.

Suffice to say the sushi was as good as ever--not top drawer, but very good--and the ambience was also great. The man and wife sushi team welcomed us back warmly and we had personable companions at the sushi bar--a group of psychiatric residents from NYC who were doing a rotation in Catonsville.

So if you promise not to overwhelm Shogun on Wednesdays, I will remind you that the all you can eat offer runs from 5 pm to 9 pm every Wednesday. It is only at the 12 seat sushi bar and you are limited to an hour from your first sushi order. The time limit has never been a factor for me and I can put away a lot of sushi.

We will be back next Wednesday early, before the Yankees-Orioles game.
