Baltimore candy pilgrammage

Jimmy Buffet | Apr 26, 2006 09:10 PM

I just started a job at Johns Hopkins and the first day I pulled into my parking lot, I noticed the name on the factory next to it - - - Dear Lord, I thought I had died and gone to Heaven...

The factory is where Goetze's Caramel Creams are made.

I have enjoyed these candies since I was about ten years old. Today, I made a pilgrammage to the front office of the factory, was greeted warmly, discovered they sell to the public (5 pound bags) and left with a handful of candies fresh off the conveyor belt.

I think I'm gonna like Baltimore.
