What are you baking these days? Happy Canada/US national holidays edition, July, 2015 [OLD]!

buttertart | Jul 1, 201504:08 PM     343

Happy Canada Day to the Canadians among us, and happy Independence Day to US friends. We are now the proud possessors of 17 yes 17 quarts of sour cherries, frozen. A pie was confected last week from some of last year's, and I may be allowed to bake with some more, depending on himself's whims. I need to make something to take to a July 4th party and might just make it the Maida Heatter chocolate cake with sour cherries...not sure yet. It has to be chocolate, sigh.
So, c'mon baby, what's lighting your fire these days?
