Baking (bread, etc.) in Breville Air?

bloodboy | Sep 2, 202010:58 PM

I posted a post about baking bread (and other goodies) in the Breville Smart Oven Air with the Challenger bread pan below:
https://www.chowhound.com/post/challe...

I actually emailed Breville and they think the Challenger will fit, but one user mentioned potential issues regarding browning and the cloche of the Breville Air. I wanted to inquire here with users who use their Breville Air to bake bread and other things with, how is it for you? Are there any things I need to know to make it work? Or does it work just fine without any additional considerations?

If it matters, I'm also buying my niece the Mockmill 200 so she can mill her own flour and use that fresh flour to baking with.

Also, I am interested in hearing from Breville Air owners who have experience using the Challenger bread pan in their Air oven.

Thank you!
