Bad news...Memphis Barbecue

Randal Cooper | Apr 25, 200209:23 PM     3

J.C. Hardaway, chef de cuisine (so to speak) at the Big "S" Grill in Memphis, is in the hospital with high blood sugar. While this wouldn't normally be a big issue, J.C. is no spring chicken (based on things I've read and heard elsewhere, I'd wager that he's over eighty), and something like this could be pretty significant. Normally something like this would pass without comment, but J.C. could turn a barbecue sandwich into something of an art form (I'm sure someone besides me on these boards has tasted one), and considering his relative obscurity, he deserves some consideration in your thoughts and prayers.
