What's up with my bacon fat?

Hi guys, hoping you can help me solve a mystery!

So, I store my rendered bacon fat tightly covered in a glass jar in the fridge.

When I went to make some eggs this morning, I noticed my bacon fat had little white flecks in it, and I've not noticed them before.

Is this bacteria growing, or spoliage?
