Heading to Montreal at the end of June with a group of 8 guys. Some of us love food, some of us order steaks well done, but as long as I get to choose the restaurant, I'd just as soon pick a great restaurant with a reasonably diverse menu.

I made a reservation at APDC, but I need another place for the second night. Some of the better restaurants in town limit tables to 6, and we need room for 8. So I'm looking for a great place that can handle our size, and will be fun. No tiny romantic dining rooms please. Not really looking for value dining, but if it's going to be expensive, it should be because the food is great, not because they have a deep wine list and all the waiters wear tuxedos.

Thanks!
