Babette's Feast: Best BLTs for breakfast

Sure, you all know how to make a BLT. Though simple, this one is elevated. The key is using the very best ingredients. Farmers' market produce would substitute for homegrown.

I got my cholesterol results yesterday & general clean bill of health. As a "reward" for good behavior I made the following:

My Best BLTs

Whole Wheat La Brea Bakery (artisanal) bread
Niman Ranch bacon
Tomatoes (organic home grown)
Avocados (organic home grown)
Romaine lettuce (organic, crisp hearts)
Mayonnaise

Slowly fry bacon until very crisp. Place on paper towels & blot off any excess grease. Slice & toast bread, spread with mayonnaise. Slice avocadoes & smash on one slice of toast for each sandwich. cover with liberal amounts of bacon, sliced tomatoes, and romaine leaves. Halve sandwiches & serve.

Simple but heavenly. I've never had one better, and have seen exorbitant prices in restaurants for BLTs of similar quality. I served them this morning with fresh "squozen" orange juice, coffee. and fresh strawberries & peach slices. I try to use organic whenever possible.

Any suggestions for gilding the lily?
