Now that the seasons have changed I have a craving for real New Mexican pozole. The kind that uses pork not chorizo, both red and green chilis and makes there own hominy in those cement things. Maybe some cornbread on the side. Does a place like this exist in Manhattan or is this an outerborough search? Or is it a fruitless search. I feel like Calvin Trillin in his new book FEEDING A YEN-in search of things that cannot be found.
p.s. Please don't tell me BRIGHT FOOD SHOP. A poor imitation.
