Authentic KC restaurant rehearsal dinner suggestions!

Kaysie | Feb 14, 200510:46 AM

Hi, I'm planning a rehearsal dinner for about 40-50 people later in the year and am looking for advice on some of the best and most authentic KC restaurants for such an event. So far places like Fiorella's Jack Stack, Starker's Reserve, Pierpont's, Stroud's Oakridge and JJ's keeps popping up. Any other suggestions?

I took a trip out to Fiorella's, and the private dining room looked pretty good. I was impressed that they would offer family style service. Starker's Reserve looks beautiful, but I'm not sure if their food is currently up to snuff (I haven't eaten there myself but have heard rumors: anyone had a recent meal there?). I don't have any other experience with the other places listed.

I'm not looking for necessarily the classiest set up, but since a lot of people will be flying in from out of town and have never experienced KC dining, I wanted to give them some authentic, lively and just plain good grub. Thanks so much for your thoughts and suggestions.
