The best home made Israeli restaurant I ever went to closed down years ago & all the ones since are either kosher (they aren't known for the taste of their food), or they are Russian Israelie & while they some times come close, they use vinegar in their food & no self respecting Israelie would ever do that as we use lemon. It just doesn't taste the same. : (
Any suggestions? I've pretty well given up since there's more Lebanese than Israelie restaurants & I don't live in the Israelie area of Toronto, but am willing to travel there if I ever found the place of my dreams LOL.
