In Austin and had a dinner at on old favorite, Chez Nous. Just of Sixth Street. It's homey French fare.
Had a really nice rielette to start with. Truly authentic and quite tasty. Had a Preimier Cru Rully was went very well with it. Main course was a grilled saddle of lamb with herbs de provence. Rich, full flavored and filling. Had a Bouchard Mothelie 2000. Very surprising wine. Quite fresh and light. First 2000 Burgundy that I've had. Much better than I thought it woudl be given the vintage's reputation.
Chocolate pot de creme for desert. Relly good. Nice casual place with very good food.
