Antic could shape up into a very good food fair. It is pretty much my favorite fair to attend because it seems to have a limited presence of 'sausage and peppers' horror factories.
I was lazy this year and only had the Waterfront pulled pork. I shed a tear at passing up the sardines at Meson Flamenco, would never eat IN there again but I always hit the antic table.
I was wondering if there were any other experiences of note?
And why the annoying beer 'corrals' (I know WHY, I mean why not have an exclusion for street fairs? Like have a number of id check/wrist band stations? After getting a wristbank you would be allowed to carry the beer throughtout the fair area, which is pretty heavily cop-ped I might add. You could charge a dollar for the wrist band and cover the costs - might even make money. For a city that gets all hot and bothered about quality of life, lower crime stats and securtiy, paying $1 to ensure that drinking is limited to adults is not a major infringement of anything, except may less time and money getting sloshed....yes I am heading over to the non-food board)
