Last Sunday evening - Father's Day - my family took me to Cafe Lily on West Ponce de Leon in Decatur. It is one of the many places on the other side of the city that I have wanted to try. Our entrees were fantastic. The dessert was so good that those who only wanted a small taste were observed taking several bites each. Our waiter was very pleasant when he was at our table, but he wasn't often there. Shortly before leaving we realized that he was inside eating his own dinner, while trying to take care of us also. That explains the long delays (five minutes or so) between requesting more water, dessert menu, etc. and receiving same. Perhaps service would have been better had we had arrived earlier. It was nearly 9pm when we were seated, and about 10:15 when we left.
