When in Astoria, best places to food shop?

Trying to compile a list of best bets for food shopping in Astoria as I'm there once a week these days--Today, I stopped at Artopolis, good little mini spinach pockets $1 a piece, they don't come cheap, but they're tasty and they can heat them up there for you if you want to eat it there, got some lovely almond cake--they have some very good stuff there, but it's very pricey--so you need to choose wisely or have deep pockets--needed the bathroom and was given a key to bathroom in the kitchen--funny but nice of them!---very convenient too, with the parking lot--the meat market that is there, looks absolutely spotless--and I saw in the window they have D'artagan chicken...how is that by the way? I'm not crazy about the mediterranean greek place--as I prefer Titan--but they are nice there though....--Usually stop at Titan for feta and other things--also parking lot makes it easy, too..........Went to Rosario's today, got some mozzarella, and I was under the assumption that they make their egg shaped boccacini balls--and they had told me that they had in the past, but today, they said, no, in fact they get them delivered in a big white container and take them from there.........ugghhh are these the ones that whole foods sells I wonder?--the thing is they are very good....I wonder who they get them from......

I'm not sure I get what all the hoopla is over Cassinelli pasta, we tried it awhile ago, and didn't think much of the quality--when you go in there, it's just pasta in bags in a refrigerator....what am I missing there?

Noticed Astoria Fishery across street from Rosario's...didn't have time to go in..but how is their fish and prices? Read a couple reviews online, and there seems to be some accusation of tipping the scales there by an elderly man...other than that..how's the fish???

Been to the Turkish Güllüoglu spot, and it was pricey, but pretty good. Some of their salads were pretty good, too.

Like Sorriso's for some things, best fried ravioli ever--their fresh mozzarella used to be the best, but I think the quality has been inconsistent a lot....

What are other not to miss spots to grab food to go or food to buy and prepare at home?
Thanks for some inside info from some Astorians!
