I live in Reno, where there are no fresh rice noodles available at our various Asian grocery stores. I tried making my own, using a recipe found on this board (using rice flour and wheat flour), it did't work well. They weren't like the fresh you can get when you can get them. One grocery store person said they won't stock them because of the short shelf life. The other has frozen noodles, I bought some and they seemed very crumbly after I defrosted them and so I didn't proceed further. One said she would get them in San Francisco for me if I special ordered them (they go twice per week for produce and other stuff). Has anyone had success with frozen rice noodles? Does anyone have a really good recipe for making them oneself? Thanks.
