We had lunch there yesterday before going to see Ironman (great, go see it).

Since we've had gastric bypass surgery (both of us on the same day back in Feb.) we're not able to eat huge portions, so all we got were appetizers. Pan fried meat dumplings and their paperwrapped chicken.

The dumplings were really good, with wonderful dipping sauce that even my husband liked, and he doesn't usually like dumpling dipping sauce. He probably shouldn't have eaten the last one he did, but he survived it.

The paper wrapped chicken (which I've seen as "foil wrapped" chicken in other places) was ok. It had a good flavour for the most part, but there were gristly bits that put me off. Also, in other places it has had a more garlicy flavour and bits of waterchestnut. I liked that for the crunch. It was also nicely complemented by the dipping sauce. :)

I think the dumplings were $6.00 for six dumplings, and the foil wrapped chicken was $6.50 for six pieces. We still have two of the chicken left and I plan on reheating those for myself today.

It was a nice restaurant, and not too full for lunch time on a Friday. Our waiter was fairly attentive and we had no problem getting out in time for the movie (we arrived right around noon, and were out again by 12:35) though keep in mind that my husband had four dumplings and one chicken and I had two dumplings and two chicken, so we don't take very long to eat. :)

The sushi bar looked good, and I toyed with the idea of getting sushi, but opted instead for two appetizers we could share because my husband hates fish. :)
