Asheville: Nightbell is Mighty Good & Rhubarb Report to Come

We're in town to drop our daughter at summer camp and planned to make a weekend of it to partake in Asheville's restaurant scene.
Friday we ate at The Nightbell. Big hits from the deviled eggs, beef tatare, fish & chips, sexy chicken, bread service, beverage service, especially the Conquistado, waffle w/ poutine, tempura veg, and the grilled cheese. There were so many strong dishes and so few misses that we felt this was one of our best meals in NC. The service was great, too. It wasn't inexpensive, but it wasn't out of line, either. i forgot that we also loved the beef cheek.
Tonight, a beer at the Funkatorium and then onto Rhubarb
