Apparently Asheville's dining scene is so active, if you are not paying attention for 6 weeks you are left behind!
Can anyone review for me
New place where Soliel used to be?
You can tell I've been reading the MountainX reviews.
So sad to loose Beanstreets. It was one of the first places where we amused ourselves 10 years ago when we discovered that Asheville was more than just "the town closest to Bent Creek"
Last time I walked past the former Blue Moon, there was a sign that said "bakery coming soon" did it?
We are doing an overnight this Friday, and I wanted to try something new, preferably something that is not opened for lunch, which is when we usually eat in Asheville.
I'm thinking of Sorrento, Sunny Point, Table, Fig...any advice? Does Table have a website where I can see the menu? How much better is Fig at dinner than lunch...I liked lunch the one time we went there, but it wasn't "all that".
Leah - do you know if any of the B&B's in Montford lean more toward casual and not-so-pricey? We'll have our bikes w/ us and they don't sleep outside. + I really can't take a lot of Laura Ashley fluff. TIA.
