Asheville Hounds - Thoughts on My Picks

Hi Mark, Leah, Dana and other Asheville Hounds,

I've read over all of the great tips and reviews you've provided and wanted to get some last minute feedback on my picks. Tomorrow, will head to Asheville to spend three nights there for a mini vacation. I've never eaten or stayed in Asheville.

Here are the restaurants I'm most interested in based on your past reviews: Zambra's, Salsa, Tomato Cocina Latina, Lucky Otter, and Tupelo Honey. All seem like they will be flavorful, fairly casual and fun venues. Also, I don't think any of them require reservations and I appreciate the flexibility.

Are there any special considerations I should take into account since this is not only a weekend but a holiday weekend? Are any experiences at above places more likely to suffer from the increased traffic, have parking or service issues, etc.

Also, we will be staying in Weaverville. From past reviews, I was only able to find Stoney Knob reviewed. Are there any downtown Weaverville places that are worth a shot (for lunch or dinner).

For Friday afternoon, we will be around the Mission Hospital area -- any really quick places to grab a quick bite for lunch?
