I am glad we went to Arterra last night. Wow was it spectacular! Amuse Bushe was a tasty combo of avocado, cucumber and red pepper in a sweet vinegar, topped with crab. First course, Blue Fog soufflé with an apple and frisse salad topped with toasted nuts. Main course, a creative twist on beef Wellington. A short rib Wellington accompanied with slow roasted onions in a light balsamic dressing with other assorted root vegetables. HOW! Dessert, chocolate soufflé tart with coffee ice cream topped with chocolate brittle.
Price $30 per person. We had the wine pairings with each course along with chicken fingers and fires for my daughter total $157
We recently dined at Gray Danko in SF. You can read my review on CH but needles to say the dinner last night at Arterra was much better and priced right.
