Arizona Kitchen, Wigwam Resort

Six of us went to a nice dinner at the Arizona Kitchen this past weekend. We called ahead and they had personalized the anniversary menu at our place. We were promptly greeted and seated by a genuinely warm person (not the snooty nonsmiling type you sometimes see) and looked over the variety of choices on the menu. Our server took good care of us- black napkins for those with dark pants, prompt on water and wine, bread refills, etc.

We had a variety of appetizers and all were tasty- the relleno was great for sharing, both flavor and size. The smoked corn chowder is as good as ever and served in a unique white bowl - center bowl with swooping sides like waves. Seafood entrees (diver scallops and salmon) were on square white plates while meats (filet, buffalo, chicken) were on southwest plates. All were flavorful and tender. My mushroom corn risotto with the scallops was delicious. Entrees were 25-44 I think.

We all had souffles for dessert- white chocolate with banana - mild yet creamy and warm.

I will have to make a return visit soon and try other items! Perfect place for great food and service.
