Went to Louis Mueller's this week and I have to say that they have redemed themselves in my eyes. The brisket was smokey and had tons of juice. The thick cuts of brisket rendered only about 6 slices of bbq heavan per pound. When I told the q cutter my dog was in the car he gave me a whole bunch of burnt ends, some of which were perfectly fine. I can safely say that schooner is a fan now. I also ordered both the sausages and they were great. I can tell that I am going to love sausage when I cut it with my nife and grease spurts out.
The ribs weren't that great. I don't know what they were missing but it was something. Unfortunately I ordered double of the ribs so I had to go back to the counter and get another 1/2 lb of brisket.
Hope noone is to sick of me posting but I had to share this since I recently gave low marks to L Mueller's.
I look forward to visiting John's post in Atown soon.
