Argentinian empanadas at Carpi's in Orange

Emma | Jan 7, 200301:59 PM

Thought I would make this recommendation since I've been eating them for years. Carpi's is an Italian/Argentian restaurant on Katella in Orange, although all I ever eat are the empanadas, which are truly the best I've ever had. They come in ham & cheese, picadillo, and spinach (which I don't recommend). The ham & cheese is outstanding, but the best thing about the empanadas is the dough and the excellent frying job that is done -- never greasy, but perfectly crisp with large bubbles in the dough.
