Restaurants & Bars

Spent new years in Montreal at a restaurant called "Area" and had perhaps the best meal Ive ever had. It cost more per person than my hotel, but it was entirely worth it. Every dish was perfect, with the highlights being oysters, foie gras, tuna tartare, and muscat glace. The waitstaff was terrific, the wine and drinks were wonderful, and the owner (only 26) ate next to us. And at the end of the long night, he sat with us and talked about his experiences opening a new restaurant and where he buys ingredients. Real nice guy. Check this place out for a great experience. Its also much more affordable on regular nights. Montreal is a great food town...
