Appliance tech rate creep ? What happens when the circuit board fails. Or the screen. "usually, it's a solder joint on a circuit board" that goes kaputz and throws everything out of wack.
Small appliances released are not really on my radar. I kinda was aware about the Revolution Touchscreen Toaster and KA offering a $300 toaster when I was shopping for toasters. A $300 from KA - never was on my radar, that they were shooting for the premium brand.
While on the hunt for a new mixer recently, more stumblings that became on my radar.
Phillips offering a $400 blender. Never would have considering them a premium brand. Mid tier bordering upper mid tier. But not premium.
When vitamix offered the touch button on the units a few years back, I remember saying , wait till that touch button goes out. While browsing at mixers, I spied this from Cuisinart
Do I need to jump on the millennial bandwagon and evolve on how the small appliance market is trending.
Edit. I do have one soft button unit. It's a Blendtec. Was kinda weary about the soft button but I wanted it for the sound enclosure
