Greetings... Tonight we will venture forth to AOC. We've done our homework and twice perused the on-line menu. What follows constitutes our tentative choices. If anyone here has truly not enjoyed one of the items listed, please call this to attention. I realize that its all literally a matter of taste, yet I hope to steer clear of the less stellar selections. As we will not be imbibing in wine or spirits, we are over-ordering to fill the belly space usually apportioned to booze :-). OK, our choices:
a) goat cheese, dried figs, and saba.
b) jamon serrano vs. plate of house-made charcuterie.
c) lamb skewers, couscous, date chutney and mint.
d) duck confit, black rice, and pomegranite salsa.
d) arroz negro with squid and saffron aioli.
e) brioche with prosciutto, gruyere and fried egg.
f) sweet potato with bacon and romesco.
g) dessert: to be determined.
Is this way too much food for two? Are the small plates really small, or not so small? Thanks for your input. We'll chime in tomorrow with a review...
