This incredibly inexpensive mom and pop and family serves the best food around, at 121 N. 11th just south of Cherry Street (at the west edge of Chinatown). If you love ginger, try the Chicken & Ginger (where the ginger isn't a spice but treated as a vegetable); the dish is about $7.50!! Tofu?? Try the Tofu and Mixed Vegetables ($6.50 or so). For appetizers, go with the Vegetarian Spring Rolls with Vermicelli ($4.25) -- and ask for the Bean Sauce for dipping. We've been getting thes same dishes for years, more than enough for two. And if you go, tell 'em Harold sent you. They'll know anyway if you order this combo.
