Today's mission: to try a new burrito place. I've been in a burrito rut since discovering Sabrosa (next to Chacarero at the Filene's building). Their burritos are veeeeery good and the line is never very long. But today I was ready to take a chance and step out. The first burrito place I passed was Boloco, formerly known as The Wrap. The line was out the door Qdoba-style. Fortunately, not more than 100 yards away I saw the inviting sign of Andale. I walked in at 1pm and there were only three other people in the restaurant and no one on line. The menu looked wonderful (as I expected as this place is owned by the Zocalo people of Arlington). I passed on the extensive list of tortas and enchiladas and settled on a chicken mole burrito for $6.25 (this is about as pricey as their menu gets). Having just shoved the last tasty morsel in my mouth, I can tell you that this is the BEST burrito you can get anywhere in the downtown/financial district area. Leave Burrito Express, leave Qdoba, run from Boloco (though I've never been there) and get to Andale now! Yum yum yum!
