I just posted this and it didn't appear, so forgive me if it appears twice.
I can't find anaheim peppers in park slope...has anyone seen them in the area? (meaning park slope, carroll gardens, cobble hill, red hook and area). My rainy sunday cooking project is a new mexico green chile, calling for poblanos and anaheims (in the absence of the more authentic hatch chiles which you can't get in NY)....hesitant to substitute since anaheims are already a sub for hatch, but would italian frying peppers work at all do you think? Please help.
