All American Sausage in Sherman Oaks Fashion Sq

Had a great lunch today at Sherman Oaks Fashion Square. Normally I dread eating in a mall food court, or "food barge" as we call it. The All American Sausage had about six different types of sausage of the beef, chicken, and turkey varieties plus hot dogs. I ordered the Mergez (spicy lamb) sausage sandwich and my hubby had the Italian chicken sausage sandwich. Both were tasty, well cooked and hot - served on a fresh, soft french roll. Aside from the usual condiments, you can load up on jalapenos, chopped tomatoes, and pickles. And the sandwiches were garnished with stuffed olives, which was nice. My hubby would have preferred a toasted roll, but other than that it was a great meal at $4.75 each. Interesting thing is that this is a Kosher food stand inside the mall - it 's closed on Saturdays. The stand is very tiny and they have a nearly invisible sign so we almost missed it, but it's definitely worth a stop.
