In September I was a judge for the Good Food Awards bean-to-bar chocolate category. Of 150 entrants, I personally blind-tasted and scored 46 of them. I asked to be notified of the identities of my favorites among those when the tallying was done. And here they are:

1816 — Cultura Craft Chocolate, 70% Haiti

4295 — Fresh Coast Chocolate, Belize 70% (Finalist!)

8665 — LetterPress Chocolate, Costa Esmereldas, Ecuador 70% (Finalist!)

2899 — Castronovo Chocolate, Dominican Republic Dark Milk 50% (Finalist!)

4849 — Fruition Chocolate, Bourbon Dark Milk (Finalist!)

8064 — Areté Fine Chocolate, Gianduia Bar (Finalist!)

9070 — Lonohana Estate Chocolate, Milk & Ginger (Finalist!)

7010 — Creo Chocolate, Minty Dark 73% (Finalist!)

5827 — Olive & Sinclair Chocolate Co., Mexican Style Cinnamon Chili Bar

The link below lists the finalists for each category. Winners will be announced next month.
