Had a fantastic salmon dish at Amelias Trattoria (thick, tender inside, crispy skin outside, smothered with a cloud of needle-thin crisp-fried leeks and carrots, over saffron risotto/caramelized fennel and grilled baby asparagus and a lobster cognac cream sauce. Better than similar preparations at much higher-profile restaurants (which I won't name). The eggplant/tomato/mint caponata which came as a spread in place of their usual white bean/garlic spread was also delicious with just a hint of a kick.
