Ambala Dhaba in Westwood gets better and better...

Just wanted to add another rave for the restaurant. Took my mom there last night for her birthday dinner. Feast for three people: two orders of samosas, three entrees, rice, naan, mango lassi, pistachio shake, two orders of culfi with cream/rice noodle preparation, tip, tax = $48. It was like being royalty...and Rick (manager? owner?) took wonderful care of us.

One other note: no corkage. We brought in a bottle of vintage cava from LA Wine Co, and they even dug up a steel bucket with ice we could use to keep it chilled. Paired perfectly, and it made a special occasion even better.
