For the past couple of weeks, I have been making the (at least) twice weekly trip to Rezeszowska Bakery at 948 Manhattan. This very small bakery has challah that is a meltingly, buttery soft loaf. It stays fresh days after I've bought it. At $3.25, this huge loaf is also a great bargain. My only complaint is that I did get a challah over the weekend and it was not as fresh and soft as usual. But after buying perhaps 10 challahs previously, I know that this is not the norm.
