Alternatives to Pampered Chef's Deep Covered Baker??

scrapperluv | Mar 10, 2011 08:48 PM

Does anyone have a stoneware casserole dish that is similar to the Deep Covered Baker? It's a stoneware casserole dish (with lid) and is a great size for making roasts, etc, in the microwave.
I'm having a hard time finding one that is good for the microwave, fits in a standard microwave AND can fit a casserole to feed 4. The ones I've found are either too big or too small.
Oh, the reason I don't buy it from Pampered Chef is that it costs $85 plus shipping plus tax. We're talking $100 in the end!
I'd appreciate any suggestions!

Here are the details:

#1321 Deep Covered Baker — $85.00
Versatile! Bake a 5-lb. chicken or turkey breast, 4-lb. roast, casseroles and more! Unglazed on the inside for perfect baking, glazed on the outside for perfect presentation. Lid inverts into baker for space-saving storage. 12 1/2" x 9 1/2" x 5 1/2",
12 1/2 cups.

About Stoneware:
