Almare Gelato Italiano (formerly Gelato Milano), Berkeley report w/ pics

I love Almare Gelato which means "By the Sea"! The new couple is so nice & friendly. They bought Gelato Milano from Curtis and became the new owners Jan 18, 2008. They should be getting their new sign next week.

I think their gelato is as good as the previous owner. The husband makes all the gelato in the morning.

They had Cassata (singleguychef recommended before) & Yogurt when I went. Both are pretty good. I got it in the smallest cup and it was $3 + .26 Tax = $3.26 Total.

Now there are CONES!! Cake & waffle cones. I'm so Happy!

If you have favorites flavors let them know by calling or emailing. They listen. I wanted Cassata & Yogurt a few weeks ago, and they had it when I went. Husband has recipes from his Uncle that made gelato in Italy so hopefully new flavors will be rolling out soon.

CASH ONLY.
